Job: Thermal Spray Process Engineer

Engineer, Plasma,HVOF, Thermal Spray,coatings,tooling,masking,robots.
FunctionProvide technical support for the thermal spray processes, fucus on optimizing the quality of coatings and improving production efficiency.
Supporting business growth through a combination of new development work and continuous process improvement strategies that stem from a hands-on engineering expertise with aerospace and industrial coatings technologies.
Support specific steps in the development of new coatings processes and parameters.
Collaboration with MetLab for all coating project requirements.
Improve tooling/masking concepts for smooth production transition.
Understand both Plasma and HVOF applications and the underlying tech plans and operation and maintenance of all robots and spray guns.

Knowledge of coatings manufacturing processes and related equipment .
Engineering degree (Materials science, Mechanical preferred).
Technical knowledge supporting thermal spray process development.
Project management and administration skills.
Process improvement orientation and knowledge of the industry standard disciplines.
Lean manufacturing Training.
Problem-solving abilities.
Team orientation with strong communication skills.
