The Trump International Beach Resort is currently looking for a Director of Operations.

The Director of Operations represents the Executive Committee to hotel guests and acts on the behalf of the General Manager in her/his absence. Responsible for the overall planning, organizing and coordinating of the Rooms and Food & Beverage Divisions, and provides leadership and direction whilst maximizing revenue opportunities and maintaining guest satisfaction levels to the standard of the hotel at all times.

• Responsible for the proper, efficient and profitable functioning of the Day to Day operations of the Rooms & Food Beverage Divisions
• Clarify duties and responsibilities of departments and ensure that work flows are in a logical and good order.
• Ensure proper staffing at all times
• Ensure that hotel standards, policies and rules are properly understood and followed throughout.
• Prepare annual departmental operating budgets as well as capital expenditure and manpower budgets
• Control and analyze departmental costs to ensure performance is within budget
• Oversees hiring, performance appraisals, counseling, coaching, training, disciplinary action, etc, for respective divisions.
• Attend daily morning briefings and any other Management meetings as scheduled
• Analyze rate discrepancy reports to ensure room revenue control.
• Handle all guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully
• Develops annual priorities and operating plan and supports the hotel's long term strategy.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere throughout.
• Be diplomatic, strict and fair in his/her relationship with all hotel staff.
• Work on special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Skills / Requirements
• Required minimum of 5+ years experience at an executive level in a luxury hotel, preferably in Food & Beverage Management.
• Four-year degree in hospitality or other business related field.
• Qualifications must include good P&L understanding, good leadership, and people skills.
• Able to foster good working relationships at all levels and the ability to assume total control of the operation when the GM is absent.
• Able to work well with a progressive company that believes in strong guest satisfaction and equal emphasis on financial goals.
