Department: Pharmacy
Schedule: Full time Shift: Day Shift Hours: Salary: Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the provision of department services to provide high quality, appropriate, safe, cost-effective service. The Director of Pharmacy Services is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Pharmaceutical Services Department; ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly; directs and controls the purchase and inventory maintenance of pharmaceuticals and related substances and supplies; participates in the department's planning, revenue analysis, budgeting, education and human resources activities. The Director supervises a staff that includes clinical pharmacists, registered pharmacists, pharmacy techs, pharmacy supervisor, pharmacy operations manager, pharmacy system specialist, pharmacy inventory specialist, and departmental assistant. Bachelor's degree in a related area AND Eight to ten years of experience in a related field AND Three to five years of management experienceLicensure/registration for Pharmacist and Consultant Pharmacist This job posting is no longer available on Jobing.com.
